Trek Overview
The Kush Kalyan Educational Trek is a unique experiential learning program that combines adventure, environmental awareness, outdoor survival, and Himalayan exploration. Designed for school and college students, the trek explores the pristine mountain landscapes of Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand.

Arrival & Acclimatization
The journey begins with arrival in Uttarkashi, where participants check into the nature resort or campsite nestled amidst the Himalayan surroundings. After settling in, students enjoy leisure time along the riverside, allowing them to acclimatize to the mountain environment while interacting with fellow participants. An evening bonfire with music and group activities encourages team bonding and prepares students for the adventure ahead.
The Trail to Silachanni
The expedition continues with a scenic drive through Bhatwari to Malla Village, the starting point of the trek. From here, participants begin their journey towards Silachanni, trekking through dense forests, peaceful mountain trails, and picturesque Himalayan landscapes. Along the route, students actively participate in adventure activities, obstacle courses, survival skill sessions, self-cooking exercises, and environmental conservation initiatives such as trail cleaning and tree plantation programs.
The Alpine Meadow of Kush Kalyan
The trek then proceeds to the beautiful alpine meadow of Kush Kalyan, a hidden Himalayan destination known for its lush grasslands, tranquil surroundings, and breathtaking mountain views. Camping amidst this unspoiled natural setting offers students valuable opportunities to study Himalayan biodiversity, forest ecosystems, and high-altitude environments while experiencing outdoor living in a safe and educational setting.
Return & Reflection
After completing the trekking expedition, the group descends back to Malla before returning to Uttarkashi for an evening of relaxation, reflection, and group interaction around a bonfire. The final day concludes with departure for the onward destination, marking the successful completion of an enriching educational adventure.
