Tour Overview
Dodital and Darwa Top Trek is a popular trekking route in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India. The trek takes you through lush green forests, sparkling streams, and small villages, and offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
The trek starts from Sangam Chatti, which is around 200 km from Dehradun. From Sangam Chatti, you trek through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and deodar to reach the serene Dodital lake. The lake is surrounded by thick forests and offers a picturesque view of the surrounding mountains.
From Dodital, the trek continues to Darwa Top, which is at an altitude of 4,150 meters. The trek is steep and requires a good level of fitness. However, the panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and Gangotri, make it all worth it.
The trek is usually done in 5-6 days, and the best time to visit is between April and June or September and November. The weather during these months is pleasant, and the skies are clear, making it the ideal time to take in the natural beauty of the region.

Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01: Uttarkashi
On arrival at Uttarkashi proceed to Shikhar Nature Resort check in and allotment of tents. Lunch. Afternoon leisure time at the banks of river side. Evening enjoy Bonfire and light music. Dinner & overnight stay.
Meal : Lunch + Evening Refreshment + Dinner.Day 02: Uttarkashi - Kalyani - Agoda - Bhewra (Drive:11 Km; Trek: 08 Km; Duration: 5-6hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Road Head at Kalyani (1550 mt). Start your first day's trek to Bhewra (2160 mt) through Agoda (2050 mt). The trek passes through dense forest. Arrive Bhewra and set-up camp near water fall for overnight stay.
Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Evening Refreshment + Dinner.Day 3: Bhewra - Majhi - Dodital (Trek: 10 Km; Duration: 6hrs)
After breakfast start the trek to Majhi. Stop here for lunch. Majhi has few Shephard hut and it offers very beautiful view of Darwa Top. After lunch continue Trek to Dodital (3024m), in about 6-7 hrs. Dodital is a beautiful lake surrounded by forests of Pine, Deodar, Oak etc. Lake is full of Himalayan Golden Trout. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.
Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Evening Refreshment + Dinner.Day 04: Dodital – Darwa Top – Dodital (Trek: 10 Km Up & Down; Duration 4 Hrs.)
After early breakfast, trek to Darwa Top (The panoramic view of the Bandarpunch and Swargarohini ranges will take your breath at lake away. 13300 Feet height). Back to Camp for lunch. Evening enjoy at lake view and games.
Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Evening Refreshment + Dinner.Day 05: Dodital - Uttarkashi (Trek: 22km; Duration: 6-7hrs + 11 Km Drive)
After breakfast trek down to Kalyani. On reaching the road head, drive down to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in at your resort. Evening free at leisure. Bonfire & Music. Dinner and overnight stay.
Meal : Breakfast + Lunch + Evening Refreshment + Dinner.Day 06: Uttarkashi – Onward Destination
Today after breakfast, check out from camps and depart for Onward Destination.
