Phuentsholing & Thimphu
The journey begins at Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan from India, where students are introduced to the country's unique culture before travelling into the Himalayan region. Travelling to Thimphu, students pass through the picturesque towns of Gedu, Chukha Dam, and the scenic confluence of the Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu rivers at Chuzom.
In Thimphu, visits include the historic Tashichho Dzong, Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma), National Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Sangaygang View Point, Takin Reserve Centre, and Changangkha Monastery, providing valuable insights into Bhutanese history, Buddhist traditions, and wildlife conservation.
Punakha Valley & Passes
